Wondering what the industry feedback has been on the new #AA tail design? There’s a #Facebook group for that. via @skiftnews

Like everyone else in the travel and aviation industry, I was excited to see the new American Airlines design when it launched last week.

Here’s what the new AA airlines will look like after the rebrand:

I liked the new logo; it maintained the AA brand, but definitely added a more modern feel. But I HATED the new tail. It’s just tacky. Turns out that I’m not the only one.

The industry response to the new tail design has been mostly negative (although for the most part, people in the industry do like the new logo). Some industry people hate it so much that they decided to create a Facebook group, called “fix the tAAil”, in order to communicate their displeasure to AA.
